Rowena & Shawn McPherson are wedding photographers based in Northern Maine. We specialize in documenting love stories as only creatives can. Rowena brings an artistic touch to her images shaped by her decades of experience in graphic design and as a fine artist. Photography was a medium she had not considered as an artistic outlet. When she was hired to be the Coordinator of Graphic Design, Social Media, and Photography at UMPI, that changed.
Shawn is a storyteller by trade penning novels and nonfiction copy under various pseudonyms. While attending college he fell in love with still images.
The Mouse Island Creatives Photography Studio approach to documenting images is based on a photojournalistic style, adapted to capture timeless images on your wedding day.
